T.I. Explains Scolding Incident, Diddy Apologizes on Twitter

The Internet is going nuts over a video that surfaced of T.I. reprimanding Diddy for being out of pocket at a club in Atlanta. More information has been revealed about the incident, which involved the rap mogul getting into a dispute with clubgoers for not drinking his Ciroc vodka.

Apparently, the event was an after-party for the BET Hip-Hop Awards, which was sponsored by Grey Goose Vodka. Diddy, who is a proud spokesperson for Ciroc vodka, was upset that the table across from him were celebrating with glasses of Grey Goose. Later, when the rap mogul was giving a toast to T.I., and birthday boy Young Jeezy, someone raised a glass of the competing drink in his face. When Diddy knocked the glass out of the patron’s hand, that’s when all hell broke loose. Thanks to T.I., he was able to squash the situation before it got out of control. He also gave Diddy a good tongue-lashing for his inappropriate behavior.

On Monday (Oct. 3), T.I. appeared on Atlanta's Wild 105.7 radio to set the record straight. Tip says he wasn't "checking" Diddy, but was trying to quell the situation. The Atlanta rapper considers Diddy family and respects him enough to be able to diffuse the incident. "You just witnessed a brother moment between me and Puff," he explained. "It was nothing more, nothing less."

Meanwhile, Diddy apologized to his fans on his Twitter account for his profanity-laced altercation at the club this past weekend. "I'm a child [of] God and I should be better no matter what someone says to me," he tweeted. "I'm sorry for the ignorant way I represented myself and us. Forgive me for my ignorance. Pray for me pls. I know better and I am better. Bottom line, I'm sorry to all! Pls find it in your heart to accept my apology.

Hey Diddy, we accept your apology -- just remember someone's drink of choice is not that serious. Let people sip on whatever they want in the club, whether it be Ciroc, Grey Goose or a glass of milk.
