Taeyeon Through the Years: From Girls’ Generation to Solo Stardom

Born March 9, 1989, Taeyeon made her debut in the hit K-pop girl group Girls' Generation at the age of 18 in 2007. Over the past decade, her unmistakably crystalline, soulful voice has soared, taking the artist herself to new heights with a number of successful solo EP releases, including 2015's I and 2016's Why.

On February 28, the versatile singer released her aptly-titled debut full length album, My Voice, bringing full circle a journey through the South Korean music industry a decade in the making.
