30 Seconds to Mars
Frontman Jared Leto is doing some reflecting on 30 Seconds to Mars' two-year-long world tour, which reached 300 concerts with a last night's show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. Leto tells Entertainment Weekly that even the band is amazed at what they've accomplished since they first set off to promote the 'This Is War' album.
30 Seconds to Mars singer Jared Leto has always been known for his good looks, stemming back to his days as the broody, dreamy Jordan Catalano on 'My So-Called Life' -- that's why it was so jarring when his pretty face was beaten to a pulp in 'Fight Club.' Leto's prettiness cannot be denied, especially when he poses for a steamy spread in the December issue of the UK version of Vogue. Yes, ladies, he does go shirtless!
Tragedy has struck the concert world again. Less then a week after five people were killed when a stage collapsed at the Indiana State Fair, multiple casualties are being reported at a festival today in Belgium, where rock bands 30 Seconds to Mars, Good Charlotte, Foo Fighters and others were set to perform.
30 Seconds to Mars, the band that transformed actor Jared Leto from leading man to frontman, capped off a busy week in New York City with a taping of an up close-and-personal edition of MTV's 'Unplugged.' Artists as varied as Bob Dylan, Hole and Pearl Jam have all unplugged and performed acoustically for the acclaimed series and now Thirty Seconds to Mars join that elite list. The airdate for the band's 'Unplugged' will be announced at a later date.
