Good news, Adele fans, which is pretty much the entire population of the free world. The British diva is working on her new album, the follow-up to the best-selling '21,' and it could be out as soon as mid-2014.
Perhaps because Adele keeps her personal life so private it would be a surprise to no one that a memoir penned by the songstress would make big bucks. Unfortunately for fans, Adele turned down a seven-figure book deal from Harper Collins because she's too young to write a memoir... just yet.
Everyone loves Adele. This is an indisputable fact. If you don't, you might be an emotionless robot. Britney Spears is one of those on the long list of people who admire the 'Skyfall' songstress, and she even penned a letter to Adele in ELLE's Women in Music Issue.
ELLE has released their yearly 'Women in Music' issue, and the main ladies being highlighted this year are 'Skyfall' chanteuse Adele, that 'Girl on Fire' known as Alicia Keys, and 'Radioactive' songstress Rita Ora.
So far, only Adele's ELLE cover has been on display for Internet users, with Keys' and Ora's issues still to come. Luckily though, we've gotten glimpses of all three songstresses in the accompanying 'Women in Music' photo spread within the mag pages.
The Brits may not have a reputation as romantic as that of the French or Italians in Europe, and their choice of lovemaking music may have something to do with that. A recent survey showed that Adele nabbed the top spot for songs most British couples get busy to -- and it wasn't a romantic tune, either.
Sometimes, celebrities seem untouchable and, typically, they are. So that's why it gives us such joy to witness a celebrity prank, whether they're the prankster or the butt of the joke -- it shows us, at the end of the day, they are still people just like us.
Adele and Beyonce are massively talented women and we are green with envy that we don't have an iota of their abilities. In a different world, where you would get to pull a 'Space Jam' and rip either Adele's vocals or Beyonce's moves, which would you pick? Tough decision, right?
