Every since Blue Ivy Carter entered the world on Jan. 7, her doting parents, Jay-Z and Beyonce, had been fodder for the tabloids. Her birth, and the couple's extraordinary efforts to secure their privacy, is now the subject of a song parody.
While Beyonce and Jay-Z's pals are gifting them with loads of posh, luxe gifts for week-old daughter Blue Ivy, which they are donating to charity, Bey's 'Telephone' partner Lady Gaga sent the infant a cute and customized onesie that could only have come from the likes of Gaga. We're hoping that Bey holds onto this gift for her little girl.
Beyonce and Jay-Z might have their hands full with baby Blue Ivy right now, but the chart-topping duo are no strangers to multi-tasking. So it should be no surprise that the proud parents are staying busy with their ever-expanding list of entrepreneurial activities -- including helping design a line of apparel created to support President Obama in his bid for re-election.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have made sure that baby girl Blue Ivy has only the best of everything since she was born. And it turns out, the best hospital suite wasn't as expensive as was previously reported. So will you still have to break your bank to give birth like Bey?
If there's one set of new parents who can afford to buy their own baby gifts, it's Beyonce and Jay-Z. However, so many well-intentioned fans and friends have been sending them presents for daughter Blue Ivy, they've decided to donate nearly all of them to charity.
Buh-bye Manhattan, hello Scarsdale? Are Beyonce and Jay-Z packing up Blue Ivy and leaving the bright lights of the Big Apple to hole up in the suburban confines of Scarsdale, N.Y., which is nestled in Westchester County? It seems pretty likely.
After debunking accusations that Blue Ivy was named after the spawn of Satan, other allegations against the newborn are being dismissed as well. The Health Department has cleared Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City of two complaints that claimed Beyonce and Jay-Z's security hindered other parents from seeing and caring for their own babies.
Just hours after being brought into the world, proud papa Jay-Z rushed into the recording studio with audio of his little miracle, breathing, cooing and crying from the hospital. The track was tacked onto the end of his newly released tune, 'Glory,' which has already made its own entrance onto the Billboard music charts this week, coming in at No. 74.
Even before her arrival over the weekend, Beyonce and Jay-Z wanted only the best for their little angel, Blue Ivy!
Not only did the celebrity couple splurge on a 2,200 square foot nursery in their Tribeca apartment (which includes a $3,500 crib!), they also reportedly had not one but two custom suites built at the Lenox Hills Hospital in New York where she was born on Saturday (Jan. 7).
