Cee Lo Green

With outlandish outfits to match his outsize personality, singer Cee Lo Green has seen success with a group, as part of a duo, as a solo artist and as a TV personality. Born Thomas DeCarlo Callaway in 1974, Green began his career with Atlanta hip-hoppers Goodie Mob. His first attempt at a solo career fizzled, but he bounced back with partner Danger Mouse in the soul duo Gnarls Barkley. Their undeniable 2006 hit ‘Crazy’ was named the greatest song of the decade by Rolling Stone. In 2010, he released ‘Forget You,’ a radio-friendly version of a profane and upbeat ditty that won a Grammy. He was an original coach on ‘The Voice,’ quitting after four seasons. In 2014, he pleaded no contest to a felony charge that he slipped ecstasy to a woman two years prior.
