After a very, very long “here’s what happened last night on The Voice” montage sequence, Christina Aguilera took the stage with her team for a medley tribute of Janet/Michael Jackson songs. Although we can’t dispute the awesomeness of the Jackson family, it once again felt like an odd choice for a group number, and not very relevant. Are the coaches all getting too old to relate to current, modern pop hits? (Sorry, coaches, but you're no spring chickens.)
It's not easy being a pop star. Singers develop thick skin to deal with the haters, and often their tough sides come through in their music. Fortunately for music fans, this often results in amazing visual to accompany these songs. Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera all posed as boxers for musical performances. Who wears boxing gloves the best?
Tonight's live episode of 'The Voice' started with the Top 10 performing 'Say It, Just Say It' by the Mowgli's. Not sure about you, but we have been feeling extremely underwhelmed with the group performances this year, and this one was no exception. When the gang all sings in unison, everything is peachy, but as they each take their solo turn during these group numbers, suddenly everything feels very messy and uncomfortable and wrong. So wrong.
Tonight’s live results show of ‘The Voice’ featured a new twist that has been buzzed about for the past several days: Twitter users will now have a chance to save their favorite singer from the bottom three. For the first time ever, fans of the show can jump on Twitter and use the hashtag #VoiceSave along with the name of the singer they wish to save from elimination, within a very limited 5-minute window. This new “Instant Save” curveball will certainly change the outcome of the show, and along with all the other ‘Voice’ fans out there, we were eager to see how it would play out on tonight’s episode.
Tonight the top 12 contestants took the stage for the second week of live rounds on ‘The Voice.’
Christina Aguilera looks amazing all the time, but lately she's looked better than ever with a new svelte figure and toned down makeup (well, toned down for her!). And her fellow faces of 'The Voice' have noticed ... especially host Carson Daly, who made a comment about her bod that may well be inappropriate, though he meant well. We think.
Christina Aguilera is being suuuuuuuper picky about her projects right now, and, well, she has earned that right.
Singer-songwriter duo A Great Big World have found their way onto Xtina's radar with their moving single 'Say Something,' an achingly beautiful song that will be performed live by Xtina and the twosome on 'The Voice' tonight (Nov. 5).
