Jennette McCurdy

California native Jennette McCurdy embarked upon an acting career at the tender age of 8, appearing on the sketch-comedy show 'MADtv' in 2000. Guest spots in dozens of TV series and movies followed, but it wasn't until she was cast in 2007 as lovable sidekick Sam Puckett in 'iCarly' that she truly made her mark. Her five-year stint on the Nickelodeon hit was followed by a starring role in its equally successful spinoff, 'Sam & Cat.' McCurdy's country-pop career began in 2010 with the release of EP 'Not That Far Away.' Her self-titled debut album came out in 2012, but the actress-singer was dropped by her record label the same year. Seemingly unfazed by a 2014 scandal involving sexy selfies, McCurdy continues to pursue a music career by sharing videos of herself performing covers that show off her beautiful voice.
