Who will win 'American Idol' this season? It's down to the wire now, with only Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez left in the competition for Season 11. The youngsters -- Phillips will turn 22 on Sept. 20 while Sanchez won't even be 17 until August 2012 -- have very differing styles when it comes to vocal performances, making America's decision that much more difficult. On tonight's (May 22) pentultimate episode of 'American Idol,' the lovely teen Jessica Sanchez sang three songs. One was selected by producer Simon Fuller, one was a repeat of a during-the-season-performance song and one was her own single. Since her nemesis Phillip Phillips won the coin toss, she went first, as he elected go second. One thing is for sure: her voice is huge and beautiful.
'American Idol's series mentor and Interscope Records chief chose the Jackson 5's 'I'll Be There' for diva Jessica Sanchez on tonight's (May 16) episode. It was her final performance for the viewing audience's votes. It was like her second time singing Mariah Carey tonight, since Carey's cover of this particular song was a huge hit for her.
