Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson joined the fray of emerging pop superstars in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s with “I Wanna Love You Forever,” the lead single from her 1999 debut album, Sweet Kisses. She solidified her breakthrough success with “Irresistable,” another smash hit from her 2001 sophomore effort of the same name. Her popularity among fans put her side-by-side with fellow pop singers Britney Spears and Christina Aguleira, as well as a host of boy bands, including Backstreet Boys, N’Sync and 98 Degrees. Her association with the latter would introduce Jessica to her first husband, Nick Lachey. Their marriage went on to become the subject of a popular MTV reality series, Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica. The show ran for three seasons between 2003 and 2005 at which time the couple announced their separation, finalizing their divorce the next year. Jessica remarried to 49ers football player Eric Johnson in 2014, with whom she has two children.
