Kim Yarbough is either very brave or very foolish, taking on Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' tonight on 'The Voice.' While we thought the LA native rocked her bold song choice, the judges disagreed. Adele's influence hangs over the industry like an all-encompassing cloud, so we applaud Kim for picking the most well-known song of the past year.
Adam Levine picked a battle that pit experience against youthful enthusiasm. 50-year old Kim Yarbrough battled Whitney Myer and had to sing 'No More Drama' by Mary J. Blige. The winner of this battle will be one of the favorites this season on 'The Voice' . Levine knew that this would be a hard decision and stated, "They have to beat each other to win."
"This will be the first time I'm able to live, sleep and eat my career," she said. Kim Yarbrough has had a lot of jobs, including a stint at a potato chip factory and as a security detail for Dave Matthews Band -- but no career that she loved. That is, until she auditioned for 'The Voice.'
