'Cola,' the Lana Del Rey song in which she sings, "My p---- tastes like Pepsi-Cola," is headed to radio. The singer revealed during an interview that 'Cola' will be the next single to promote her new EP 'Paradise.'
The 2012 MTV EMAs took place tonight (Nov. 11) in Frankfurt, Germany, with pop music's A-list, like Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Carly Rae Jepsen and more, coming out to walk the red carpet, to accept awards and to perform. The EMAs are essentially the European equivalent of the VMAs, only with more European artists and scenesters, like Pixie Geldof, in attendance.
Lana Del Rey recently tweeted an image inspired by her 'Cola' lyric: "My p---- tastes like Pepsi-Cola / My eyes are wide like cherry pie." While it baffled (and gave the giggles to) the masses, she finally offered a somewhat lucid explanation of the line.
Zzzzzzz. Lana Del Rey's video for 'Bel Air' is a bit snoozy. It features the gorgeous singer (and model) as a celestial being, standing while camera circles her as she is bathed in green and blue lights and surrounded by plumes of smoke. It's like the hem of her dress is on fire or something.
For someone who doesn't think about style that much, Lana Del Rey sure has a lot of style-centric and fashionable jobs. The singer posed in a structured frock with a statement necklace collar, arm-length gloves and a Priscilla Presley-style bouffant in Vanity Fair, which documented her style evolution and transformations. She also said that "style" was never her forte and that things just happened organically.
Lana Del Rey's 'Paradise' deluxe edition of 'Born to Die' features a very graphic lyric about a part of her body that tastes like Pepsi Cola. Now, the sometime singer and oftentimes model has shared a throwback image of a photo boasting that special lyric and her ever-present, dagger nails. Along with a classic bottle of the beverage, of course.
Whoever reps Lana Del Rey for modeling endorsements deserves a big, fat bonus as the singer has bagged yet another high-end (and likely lucrative) modeling campaign. She is now repping Versace. Nice score, Donatella.
