Little Mix

Formed via reality TV, Little Mix have become the biggest British girl band since the Spice Girls. After failed auditions as soloists on the U.K. edition of ‘The X Factor,’ Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall were eventually brought together to compete as a unit on the show. In December 2011, they became the first-ever group to win the competition, signing to Simon Cowell’s label and releasing their first single, ‘Cannonball.’ Little Mix’s debut album, ‘DNA,’ featuring the singles ‘Wings’ and ‘Change Your Life,’ hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and put them on the map in the United States. Their stateside profile rose with sophomore album ‘Salute,’ a slot supporting Demi Lovato on tour and Edwards’ high-profile romance with One Direction member Zayn Malik.
