June 2013 is going to be a great month for new music. Music lovers will receive a dose of pure pop from groups like Big Time Rush and Hanson, a fresh batch of R&B jams courtesy of Kelly Rowland and Ashanti, a bit of jazzy crooning from 'Glee' star Matthew Morrison, some new hip-hop tracks from Mac Miller and J. Cole, and a few surefire party staples from 3OH!3. So, which new music release for June 2013 has you the most excited?
Two duets are making their debuts on PopCrush's Top 20 countdown this week. Ariana Grande should feel elated that her hit 'The Way' (featuring a verse from rapper Mac Miller) is a few spots ahead of one of her biggest influences, Mariah Carey, who notches in at No. 20 with '#Beautiful,' featuring Miguel.
Mac Miller is getting into the reality television business. The Pittsburgh rhyme-spitter has teamed up with MTV2 for his very own reality show. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the six-part series will follow the rapper as he starts to work on his second album and adjusts to his new life in Los Angeles.
Mac Miller is certainly on a roll this summer. He's featured on the Justin Bieber's remix for 'Boyfriend' and he's teaming up with fellow Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa for the Under the Influence of Music Tour in July. Now Miller just drop his new song 'Onaroll,' which is from his new EP titled 'Pink Slime.'
