Maroon 5

Helmed by charismatic frontman Adam Levine and his captivating falsetto and knack for crafting instantly earwormy pop nuggets, Maroon 5 have experienced a remarkable rise to fame since the release of their 2002 debut, Songs About Jane. The album became an overnight success propelled by hit singles “Harder to Breathe,” “This Love” and “She Will Be Loved.” Their breakthrough effort even helped earn the band a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2005. Though it took nearly five years for the L.A. pop-rock crew to regroup for their 2007 sophomore follow-up, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long, the five-piece was welcomed back with open arms and another string of chart-topping hits. The band’s momentum forward was only enhanced by Adam Levine's acceptance of a role as a judge on the singing competition series, The Voice, in 2011, after which the band found renewed success in their 2012 full-length, Overexposed.
