Until the bank is robbed by crooks (played by the band members) and he attempts to become the "hero" in a hail of bullets as he makes his escape and steals a gun off a robber.
In what looks like a scene straight out of an action movie, members of Maroon 5 play bank robbers who prey on Adam Levine's place of employment in a behind-the-scenes clip from the video shoot for 'Payphone' (via E! Online). Levine ditches his normally cool rocker duds for a boring grey suit and thick-rimmed glasses, while his gun-wielding bandmates don all black and masks as they fire at the frontman.
