Miley Cyrus

From squeaky-clean Disney starlet to twerking, wrecking-ball-riding vixen, Miley Cyrus has been a pop icon since an early age. Born in Nashville in 1992, she is the daughter of country-music star and actor Billy Ray Cyrus. She scored mega-success at age 13 as the star of the musical Disney Channel series 'Hannah Montana.' Half of the 2007 double-disc release 'Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus' served as the singer’s first album, debuting at No. 1 and going triple platinum. Cyrus grew on that solo success with hits like 'The Climb' and 'Party in the U.S.A.' Her raunchy performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards crushed her clean-cut image forever – and dominated the pop-culture conversation for months. In 2013, she released her fourth album, 'Bangerz,' featuring 'Wrecking Ball,' her first-ever No. 1 single.
