Ne-Yo - Page 5
It's been awhile since the glory days of Motown Records. But, it's still one of the most respected labels in R&B, with arguably the richest catalog in the genre; and like any record company, it's always just a breakout signing or two away from the top of the charts. To help find and secure that talent, the label has hired a brand new senior VP of A&R: multiplatinum artist and new Motown signee Ne-Yo.
NBC's 'The Voice' will return in the coveted post-Super Bowl spot on Feb. 5, after which it will shift to its regular Monday night slot -- and this time, the list of celebrity advisers is almost too much for us to handle.
After the R&B star performed with Pitbull on the season finale, he spoke to reporters about Amaro's 'X Factor' win. Ne-Yo offered a word of warning to the singer, who will soon be swimming with the industry sharks, and we don't think Britney Spears will be too psyched when she finds out what Ne-Yo said.
Pitbull and Ne-Yo brought some 'International Love' and their collabo track 'Give Me Everything' to the stage of the 'X Factor' finale tonight (Dec. 22.) Ne-Yo filled in for Chris Brown on 'International Love,' while 'X Factor' semi-finalist Marcus Canty dropped by to sing a verse on 'Give Me Everything.' Canty was in his element, wearing some serious black leather pants, too.
Justin Bieber's ITV Special aired and the Biebs demonstrated why he is an unstoppable talent. He was able to sing, dance and change tempos, moods and genres seamlessly. Holiday tunes? Check. Acoustic renditions of R&B hits? Check. High octane renditions of his own smash songs? Check. The Biebs did it all and we have video to prove it.
What happens when you mix the sultry sounds of Ne-Yo with the sweet and soothing voice of Justin Bieber? You get one heck of a mash-up. The Biebs shared a 'Fa La La / Sexy Love' mash-up from YouTube user RaheemdaplayaO4 via his official Facebook page, and we have to agree with the 17-year-old 'Baby' hitmaker: "this is sick!"
It's been a long time since we heard any new material from rap icon LL Cool J. The Grammy Award-winning artist is currently getting his acting on as the star of CBS' hit show 'NCIS: Los Angeles.' As part of Tuesday night's (Nov. 15) episode arc, LL created this rap ballad 'No More' (featuring Ne-Yo) as the soundtrack to his character's storyline.
