Nelly has had a great rapport with the sports world for years with his hits 'Number 1' and 'Batter Up' being played in stadiums constantly. Now, the St. Louis-bred rapper teamed up with ESPN on an original track and video, 'The Champ,' solidifying himself as a champion of both sports and music.

Taylor Swift should rename her Speak Now tour to the Hip-Hop Now tour with the list of rappers making surprise appearances on her U.S. trek. Not that we are complaining because all of it has been entertaining, so far. The latest rapper to hit the stage with Swift was Nelly, who performed his chart-topping track 'Just a Dream' during the country songbird's tour stop in Houston, Texas.

Nelly has partnered with Vatterott College to develop a studio and recording school in his hometown of St. Louis. The Grammy award-winning rhyme-spitter owns a vacant building in the city and decided to help out school officials with teaching music to incoming students. The Vatterot College Ex'treme Institute is expected to open in October.

Keri Hilson is hitting the airwaves with the fourth single off her latest album, 'No Boys Allowed.' The track, 'Lose Control' (featuring Nelly), serves up beats for the dance floor and lyrics for the bedroom.

Nelly gets awful friendly with Kelly Rowland in the sunny, beach-set video for their new collaborative single, 'Gone.' The song is the third track to be released from Nelly's 2010 album '5.0,' following 'Just a Dream' and 'Move that Body.'

Nelly made his own appearance at the 2011 Grammys -- the rapper was featured in a funny Ford commercial premiering the new Explorer.
