Though it's pretty much a given at this point that Mariah Carey won't be around for the next season of 'American Idol' after the massive drama with Nicki Minaj this season, her hubby Nick Cannon is shedding more light on everything.

The funny man explained that neither he nor Carey blames all the brouhaha on Minaj herself -- but that the brunt belongs with the producers of the show, who deliberately rocked the boat for ratings.
