Born in 1986, English actor Robert Pattinson got his start when he portrayed the ill-fated Hufflepuff, Cedric Diggory, in the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s fourth Harry Potter installment, The Goblet of Fire. He reprised the role for flashbacks in the fifth movie, Order of the Phoenix, however, it was his lead role in another book-to-movie adaptation of author Stephanie Meyers’ Twilight series that solidified Pattinson’s place as a household name.
