Robert Pattinson

Born in 1986, English actor Robert Pattinson got his start when he portrayed the ill-fated Hufflepuff, Cedric Diggory, in the film adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s fourth Harry Potter installment, The Goblet of Fire. He reprised the role for flashbacks in the fifth movie, Order of the Phoenix, however, it was his lead role in another book-to-movie adaptation of author Stephanie Meyers’ Twilight series that solidified Pattinson’s place as a household name. The actor portrayed brooding, enigmatic vampire Edward Cullen throughout the series’ five films. His role in the movie garnered droves of fans who pledged their allegiance to him in the epic Edward vs. Jacob debates, but it also spurred a real-life relationship with his co-star, Kristen Stewart, who portrayed his on-screen flame, Bella Swan. Unfortunately, The couple’s relationship ended in a very public breakup. Since the conclusion of the Twilight franchise, Pattinson has maintained an undeniable upward movement in his career, appearing in Remember Me, Water for Elephants and more.
