While the judges thought all-girl, pop-country quartet Lakoda Rayne turned in a riveting performance and loved the Stereo Hogzz and their well-choreographed grooving the night before, the court of public opinion was quite the opposite. Poor Stereo Hogzz, too! This was their second week camped out in Almostvotedoffville and they were eliminated at the end of the episode. Bum out!
It was a rough night for Paula Abdul and her groups on 'X Factor,' as the artists with the lowest scores were hers! Stereo Hogzz didn't impress America as much with their performance last night, and neither did Intensity. As a result, both of the groups had to go head-to-head and perform for their lives tonight. One won't be back next week, at the behest of the judges.
Stereo Hogzz opened up the group performances on Tuesday's 'X Factor' with a bang, leaving little room for improvement from the acts that followed. The R&B five piece waltzed onto the stage with Otis Redding's classic 'Try a Little Tenderness,' which brought tender tears to Paula Abdul's eyes before the song had even reached its first chorus.
The guys in Stereo Hogzz had a lot on the line by auditioning for 'X Factor,' but one member of the fivesome had much more at stake with this performance. He became a father to a baby girl the morning of the group's audition! He was all smiles, saying, "I just want to do it for my child.” Talk about being under a lot of pressure!
