File this under "Strange But True" category in hip-hop history. Apparently members of Tupac Shakur's old group, The Outlawz, smoked the cremated ashes of their fallen hero after his funeral. Yes, we are shocked by this news, as well.

In a strange twist in the ongoing saga of the unsolved death of Notorious B.I.G., an incarcerated man named Clayton Hill has reportedly confessed of his involvement as an accessory after the fact in the slaying of the late Brooklyn, N.Y., rapper.

Tupac Shakur's former group, the Outlawz, plan to release a new album in honor of the late rapper. The rap quartet, which consists of Young Noble, E.D.I. Mean, Kastro and Hussein Fatal, will drop their final LP 'Perfect Timing' on Sept. 13, which is the 15th anniversary of Tupac's death. It's been nearly 15 years since the death of Tupac Shakur, but the rapper still has unreleased material in his vault. Two more songs have been unearthed that feature Tupac dissing Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Mobb Deep and many more.

A convicted murderer named Dexter Isaac admits he shot Tupac Shakur in Manhattan's Quad Studios on Nov. 30, 1994 after allegedly being paid $2,500 dollars by James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond, CEO of Czar Entertainment and the manager of the Game.

Tupac Shakur would've turned 40 years old this Thursday, June 16, and though he's been gone for nearly 15 years, he's clearly not forgotten. The rapper will be celebrated on Thursday at a tribute event featuring Erykah Badu, Bun B and Too Short.
