Contrary to various reports that surfaced last week, U2 frontman Bono is a-OK. It was reported that Bono was suffering from chest pains while visiting the South of France, and was hospitalized for heart palpitations. However, a rep for the singer is now saying this is completely inaccurate.
U2 singer Bono was at the center of a health scare last week, the reports of which are only now surfacing. The singer supposedly suffered from heart palpitations while in the South of France and was subsequently rushed to Princess Grace Memorial Hospital in Monaco last Wednesday, Aug. 17, because he was complaining of chest pains.
U2 has been added as the third headliner to Glastonbury, an annual festival held in rural England. U2 are fired up to rock the Pyramid Stage on June 24 during the 2011 festival, especially after being forced to cancel their appearance at last year's event. Previously announced headliners include Coldplay and Beyonce.
