If this episode taught us one thing, it’s that waiting definitely sucks. Episode 6 begins with Pam and Eric being imprisoned by the Yakuza, who sentenced them to death by sunrise. Thankfully, Eric and Pam were released on the merit that they hold the key to finding Sarah Newlin.

Sarah Newlin sneakily arrives at her sister’s house only to find that Amber is very close to dying. When Amber awakens, Sarah informs her that she has changed and everything in her life has led her to his point. At this point, we learn that Sarah holds the power to save the infected vamp population because she drank the antidote last season. The real question is: Will those stop Eric from wanting to kill Sarah when he finally finds her again?

Jessica returns home to find Bill on the phone with an estate lawyer, discussing his will and the fact that he is now a carrier of Hep-V. Poor Jessica is devastated and calls Jason immediately, informing him that he needs to bring Sookie over as soon as he can. When Sookie finds out that Bill is sick, she knows that could potentially be a carrier, so she decides to get tested again.

Violet continues to be as crazy as we imagined and has a major meltdown when she overhears Jason take Jessica’s call and promptly leave their house. After she destroys their bedroom in a rage, she leaves seeking out her revenge due to Adilyn and Wade at Fort Bellefleur. Violet follows Adilyn’s scent to the Fort, where her and Wade are hiding out since they were caught canoodling in Andy’s house that morning. She offers them a place to stay, and tells them to ditch their phones so they can’t be tracked by Andy.

So Lettie Mae is not as crazy as we thought. Lafayette is somehow convinced by James that Lettie Mae could be telling the truth regarding Tara. As Lafayette and Lettie Mae begin to trip they find Tara on her cross with her snake speaking in tongues. When they get her down, she runs off and leads them to the house where they lived when Tara was a baby. Tara is digging holes like a dog in the front yard when Lettie Mae is suddenly brought back to consciousness by Rev. Hysteria ensues, since it did seem like Tara was trying to tell them something symbolically. Rev. gives Lettie Mae an ultimatum, and she chooses her child over her husband.

Sookie finally gets the results of her blood test, and finds out that she is Hep-V positive. The episode closes on a somber note as Bill returns home to find Sookie and Jessica completely devastated.

Until next week…
