To. Die. For. That's the best way to describe the jaw-dropping, gasp-inducing, historic Southern estate that Taylor Swift just purchased for her parents in Nashville.

CasaSugar reports that Swift, who earlier this summer listed a Nashville home she had bought for her mom and dad, plunked down $2.5 million for the 5,601 square foot abode, and it looks to be worth every penny. The house is known as "The Northumberland Estate" and was erected in 1930. It was most recently owned by music industry executive Luke Lewis, but now it's all Swift's parents!

What a spread. Thanks to the 20th century architecture, the property exudes old world Southern charm and that's just the home's façade. The interior of the house has been upgraded with modern amenities without sacrificing its historic integrity.

As for the fancy inside? It's four bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths; there's a spiral staircase, lots of open space and it's decorated in a thoroughly modern way. There's a formal living room and a wooded study, as well as spacious, well-lit terrace room. There's plenty of light pouring into the property and it is overall a beautiful home. It's also a steal, considering the multi-million dollar price tags attached to this size property in, say, Beverly Hills!
