Taylor Swift took home the 2011 American Music Award for Favorite Female Artist in the country music category. The 21-year-old country pop cutie looked ultra glamorous in a beaded golden gown with her hair slung back in a straight, low ponytail as she walked onto the stage to accept her glass trophy.

Taylor Swift had some stiff competition in the category, as she was nominated against some really accomplished country gals like Miranda Lambert. When they announced her name as the winner, Swift -- who was seen rapping along to Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass' earlier -- jumped up in triumph and hugged her good friend Selena Gomez.

As she accepted the award, Swift said, "Thank you so much this is amazing we've been on tour all year and I want to thank my band and my crew ... And my fans for filing up arenas ... And caring about the music I write. And I also want to thank my mom and dad and my brother who came with me tonight. I love you so much. Thank you so much! This is wonderful."

Congrats on your win, Taylor!
