Taylor Swift is busy traveling North America for her Speak Now tour, but it looks like she's taking a break from her run in the name of fashion.

The 21-year-old country star attended Rodarte's Spring 2012 fashion show on Tuesday, and was photographed sitting in the front row (reserved only for A-listers) with Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. That's not bad company to keep when you're taking in a runway vent.

Swift was dressed in a long-sleeve cream lace dress with her naturally curly hair straightened for the night. She wore nude heels and accented her makeup with a red lip to go with the demure, but super chic look.

Ironically, the usually upbeat and smiling Swift was snapped with a slightly curled mouth, while Wintour, who is known for being a tough, sunglasses-wearing cookie, is shown grinning ear-to-ear.

It's no coincidence that the two were sitting next to each other at the fashion show -- the singer was recently named in Vogue's 'American Idols: Icons of Stateside Style' feature for her eclectic style and diverse wardrobe. Swift shared the high praise with other stars like Katy Perry, Michelle Williams, Gisele Bundchen and more.

"With Taylor's energetic charisma and Katy's edgy charm, they look as good in a casual summer dress as they do on the red carpet," designer Tommy Hilfiger said of the pop vocalists.

Taylor can take in more Fashion Week events as she's enjoying a few days off before resuming her Speak Now tour on Sept. 16 in Nashville, Tenn.
