Did you think that there was "Bad Blood" brewing between Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne based on that little Twitter drama from earlier in the week? Well, you thought wrong!

Last night, Tay squashed any rumors of a feud between herself and the petite Canadian pop-punk star by—yeah, you guessed it—inviting Avril for an onstage duet during her 1989 World Tour in San Diego. And by doing so, she made all our little pre-teen dreams come true!

In 2002, the studded-belt and wristband-wearing pop artist became an icon for the Hot Topic-wearing teenage masses (no shade intended; that includes yours truly, too) with her mega-hit "Complicated"—which, by the way, is just as effortlessly catchy today as it was thirteen years ago. Saturday evening (August 29), that theory was more than confirmed when Taylor and Avril (wearing a dress more glittery than anything we remember seeing her in before) busted the emotional pop anthem out together at PETCO Park, no doubt giving the sold-out crowd a whole bunch of nostalgic feels. Take a look, below:

Afterwards, Taylor made her true feelings towards Avril publicly known, tweeting, "So incredible sharing the stage with Avril Lavigne! 'Complicated' is such a brilliant pop song and I just love her."

Of course, the "Sk8ter Boi" singer responding to Taylor's gushing with some positive words of her own on Instagram, in particular saying that "Taylor rocks!"

Case in point? There's nothing to see here, folks! It's all mad love between Taylor and Avril. Now, we can only hope Taylor will continue with a few more early-millennium alt-pop guests... Michelle Branch, anyone?
