Taylor Swift Kicks Off 2014 American Music Awards With ‘Blank Space’

Taylor Swift got the 2014 American Music Awards party started with her first-ever live performance of 'Blank Space'!

While we didn't think that anything could ever top the 'Blank Space' music video, T. Swift did a seriously kickass job of emulating the set live on stage, kicking off the performance by poisoning her lover at the dinner table -- the entire scene framed in a giant, ornate picture frame. How awesome was that?!

Throughout the performance, Taylor strutted her stuff all across the stage in a bronze-toned, flapper-esque gown, looking every bit the part of an insanely glamorous (albeit a little psycho) starlet. And while we were unabashedly holding out hope that it would've been Harry Styles who walked through the door at the end of the performance, we'll take solace in the fact that Taylor completely nailed it -- all on her own. Work it, girl!
