For nearly the entirety of her career, Taylor Swift has been accused by the media of dating anyone who’s ever been pictured within a ten-foot radius of her at any given time. Normally, Taylor refuses to acknowledge these rumors and simply lets them die down on their own.

This time, however, she actually took to Twitter to express her annoyance at the media’s insistence on linking her to any and all of her friends. You can check out her tweet above.

While it's not clear what specifically Taylor is referencing, photos of Taylor and her BFF Karlie Kloss attending a concert by the 1975 recently began circulating on the Internet. No big deal, right? Well, at some point people pointed out that the shots — which are so grainy we have to wonder whose 1999 flip phone even took the photos — make it look like Karlie and Taylor are having an intense make-out session. Because it’s not like concerts are loud and you sometimes have to lean in close to the person next to you to be able to hear them, or anything.

According to US Weekly, when asked about the rumors, Taylor’s rep totally shot them down in the greatest line we’ve ever heard from a publicist: "It's sad that on the day it's announced Taylor has three Grammy nominations for 'Shake It Off,' I have to shake off this crap.”

So there you have it: "Kaylor" is not a thing, guys. Two insanely beautiful, successful women can actually be just friends ... even if one of those women happens to be Taylor Swift.
