Taylor Swift Still Single, Not Dating Surfer John John Florence

Slow your roll, Taylor Swift gossip hounds. The singer and serial dater has not steamrolled her way into a relationship with Hawaiian surfer John John Florence. There's no "flo" for T. Swizzle.

The pro surfer himself stoked the flames of rumors himself thanks to comments he made about her on an Aussie TV show. The singer's team and insiders close to the situation moved, uh, swiftly to stamp out the embers of gossip.

Digital Spy reports that Flo was asked about his "connection" to T. Swizzle, but he got all sorts of shady, saying, "Uh, I'm not supposed to comment about that." Well that's about as big of an alarm bell as he could possibly set off. That's like a shark smelling blood in the water.

He continued, "Yeah, you know, it's kind of a secret thing going on right now. Can't bust it out in the public just yet."

Whoa. Those are inflammatory statements, so no wonder the press aka gossip vultures were quick to assume Swift was dating again so soon after Harry Styles left her lying on the cold, hard ground.

Another tab said Tay, 23, and Flo, 20, were texting a bunch, too, and that the surfing industry was abuzz not about waves and boards, but about this possible hook up. It was even suggested that the two had not even hung out yet and were only involved in a textual relationship that was initiated by her. No wonder the Swizz gets SO miffed about all these dating rumors. She can't even smile at someone of the opposite sex without gossip spiraling out of control.

However, a Swift source told E! that there "is no truth to this at all" and that Swift "is not dating -- or texting -- this guy."
