Taylor Swift Says Her Exes Are Free to Write Songs About Her

Since Taylor Swift's stock in trade is writing songs about her famous exes, she understands that what goes around comes around and that her musical exes, like Joe Jonas, John Mayer and most recently, Harry Styles, are free to return the, uh, favor.

In the sneak peek of her InStyle UK cover, which is the April 2013 issue, the mag shared a juicy quote. T-Swizzle said, "If I’m gonna write songs about my exes they can write songs about me. That’s how it works. I’m not gonna complain about it. I’m not gonna sit there and say, ‘I’m the only one who can write songs about this relationship.’ It’s fair game."

This assumes that her exes would want to take aim in a song. Would One Direction endeavor to do so, since Style has four other mates? We're not so sure. And Mayer? Well, he has moved on with Katy Perry and his Swiftmance is water under the bridge. Plus, he said her penning songs about him was a cheap songwriting tactic. Joe Jonas has had about 27 Brazilian models, each hotter than Gisele and Alessandra D'Ambrosio, since he broke up with Swift in a 27-second phone call, which she told the world about.

We cannot wait to see her cover and what other juicy quips tumble from her red-painted mouth.
