Taylor Swift won the award for Favorite Country Album at the 2011 American Music Awards. Swift beat out Jason Aldean and the Band Perry for this honor, and either she doesn't realize she's the biggest country star in the world, and truly keeps getting surprised by all these honors, or she's a really good actress. Either way, we're happy for the country pop cutie!

"I wrote this album ['Speak Now'] while I was on the Fearless tour, so I wrote lots of it at 4 in the morning, in hotel rooms and on tour buses," Swift said during her acceptance speech. "So the fact that you would honor it in this way, you have no idea how much it means to me."

Swift also took home Artist of the Year and Favorite Country Female Artist awards at the event on Nov. 20. Her best friend Selena Gomez and her brother were right by her side to celebrate Swift's wins throughout the 2011 American Music Awards. Way to go, Taylor!
