You know, if Taylor Swift didn't lead such a charmed life, we'd be inclined to feel sorry for the pop country singer, because she can't enjoy a romance without people assuming it will inspire an album's worth of songs when it ends or speculating that she's knocked up.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer is currently battling a barrage of rumors that she is pregnant -- or desperate for a child in order to cement the relationship -- since going public with Harry Styles of One Direction.

Of course, the tabloids say that Swift is scaring the crap out of the 1D member with her baby talk. And we don't mean cooing or talking sweetly in his ear.

OK! (quotes via Gossip Cop) claims that Swift "loves babies" -- fine, not an indicator of "Harry, give me a child now" -- and that she wants to have one while she is in her 20s. Again, that's fine. She's 23, and has seven more years to make a baby to fall in line with that claim. Styles is only 18, and the only babies on his mind are likely the young Directioners he entertains and respects.

A source goes on to tell the tab that Swift's baby crazy nature is why she split with summer BF Conor Kennedy, and it's leading to strain in her romance with Styles. Um, Kennedy is a student and she had an album to promote, which likely lead to their split. Plus, she seems to have been on an inevitable collision course for romance with Styles since March of this year, so nothing -- not a boyfriend, not an album to promote -- could have stopped that.

Still, the rumors persist. "Every time she goes gaga over a baby, he struggles not to flip out," the source said. "There’s no way he’s even remotely interested in having a baby. He’s a good 10 years away from something like that."

No, we're not making any of this up. The story is outrageous, and unfair to Swift and Styles. When Haylor were first photographed in NYC together, they were hanging out with his stylist and her child. Swift was snapped cradling the child, which was an easy jumping off point for these ridic rumors.

Let T. Swizzle and Hazza have some fun, people!
