Taylor Swift has been the face of Keds since the release of 'Red,' and now she's fronting another campaign for the casual kicks. The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer embraces her good girl side in the brand's Braveheart campaign, which celebrates brave girls.

Based on the criteria for the ideal Keds girl, Swift was a shoe-in -- no pun intended. “This campaign is inspired by our Keds girl, who we believe is without limits. She is optimistic, kind and bold, and views life with a very brave outlook,” Keds president Rick Blackshaw said in a statement. “She is socially connected, focused on being a catalyst in her community and values her opinion and wants it to be heard. Our goal was to capture her dynamic spirit in ways both large and small.”

Swift was pretty stoked to be part of the Bravehearts campaign, likely because she celebrates bravery in a lot of her lyrics -- and even in an album title. ('Fearless,' anyone?)

“I am so excited to be working with Keds,” gushed Swift. “The campaign is a tribute to brave girls everywhere.”

This is the second installment of Swift's three-year deal with Keds, which launched this fall. “I've been a fan of Keds for years, because they have two of my favorite elements of great style — they’re classic and effortless," Swift said. "I remember wearing Keds as a little kid, while riding my bike around the farm. When I got older, I started wearing them again. There’s something cool about shoes that you can grow up with.”

Swift says Keds also complement the retro look she's been sporting recently. “I love pairing them with vintage looks." It shows in her latest ad, which features a pinup-style polka dot A-line dress. Cute!

In her commercial for the campaign, Swift encourages viewers to take risks. "Take chances. Trust yourself ... be brave and you'll have the time of your life."

We just wish Mel Gibson and some face paint were involved.
