Country Gals Taylor Swift + Lauren Alaina Take Over ‘Regis and Kelly’

Country music's young, blond bombshells took over 'Live! With Regis and Kelly' on Thursday -- Taylor Swift to chat about being named Billboard's Woman of the Year and her Wonderstruck perfume, and Lauren Alaina to perform her latest single, 'Georgia Peaches.'

The girls each got their moment to shine on the show, and though Taylor didn't perform, we were relieved to see her actually sit down and take a breather amidst her busy schedule promoting the new fragrance, touring and adding new nods to her ever-growing awards shelf. While chatting about her most recent Billboard accolade, the 'Love Story' singer maintained her usual modesty, commenting that no one ever knows who will win an award before it's handed out. We're so sure. At this point, it's not really anyone's game -- she always wins.

As for Lauren Alaina, she rocked her live performance of her new single. Backed by a full band, the 16-year-old 'American Idol' runner-up belted out the lines to 'Georgia Peaches' with all of her usual smiles and sass. Check out her performance -- and Taylor's interview -- below!
