Taylor Swift Shares Pics from Girls-Only Beach Vacay

Taylor Swift has traveled to many places in her 21 years, but she has always wanted to visit Charleston, S.C., and thanks to three consecutive off days on her Speak Now tour schedule, she was finally able to make her wish come true.

“Sometimes I work out, sometimes I don’t, sometimes I listen to music constantly, sometimes I become obsessed with a piece of advice I’m given, sometimes I want to do nothing but watch ‘Friends’ marathons, sometimes I write in my journal every night, then I’ll skip a month,” Swift wrote on her website. “And sometimes I take lots of pictures of what’s going on in my life. For these three days, that’s what I did. And because your niceness is why I get to take vacations, I thought I’d share them with you.”

The country star recently took her her all-girls road crew -- including "one fiddle player, one backup singer, two dancers [and] three aerialists" -- along for her adventure on the beach. The ladies enjoyed delicious meals, swimming in the ocean and simply relaxing in the southern state.

At one point in the vacation, Swift and her friends returned to their home away from home to find messages written to them in sand. "It was really sweet," the singer wrote. As we can see by these photos, the rest of three-day getaway was pretty sweet, too.
