Looks like the romance between Taylor Swift and Conor Kennedy is heating up. Not only has she introduced him to her parents, she's reportedly purchased a house in Cape Cod, Mass. -- near Conor's grandmother, Ethel Kennedy.

After the story broke about the coupling of Swift, 22, and Connor, the 18-year-old son of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., his aunt Rory called Taylor "a great friend of all of ours," adding, "She's awesome and we love her."

And when matriarch Ethel was asked how she'd feel about having the country superstar in the family, she gave her unequivocal stamp of approval by enthusing, "We should be so lucky!"

Apparently the ladies weren't just being polite for the press -- because the Boston Herald says Swift has put down roots in a house right across the street from Ethel in Cape Cod. The seven-bedroom waterfront estate has a price tag of $4.9 million, and its Colonial style is in keeping with the architecture Taylor seems to prefer (her other homes in Nashville and Beverly Hills are also Colonials).

A local realtor confirmed the purchase to People, saying Swift bought the property last week.

We're glad Taylor seems so happy, but if she and Conor wind up living happily ever after, we're a bit worried about her songwriting career -- romantic angst has the been the source of some of Swift's biggest singles.
