Taylor Swift Talks ‘Snarky Songs’ About Ex-Boyfriends, Performs ‘Welcome to New York’ [VIDEOS]
Taylor Swift covered a lot of ground during her visit to 'The Late Show With David Letterman' last night (Oct. 28). Some of the topics included her infamous songs about exes, her recent move to New York and her friendship with Lena Dunham.
One of Taylor's signatures is using her former relationships as songwriting inspiration. When speaking with Letterman, the singer cleared one thing up -- she isn't necessarily done writing these tracks!
"Well, I mean I haven't had any lousy boyfriends in the last year and a half," she explained. "It's been good. ... I'm not really looking around for them, at them, shopping. I'm not doing any of that."
Taylor did open up about one very important relationship in her life: Her friendship with Lena Dunham! She called the actress/writer/director "empowering" and explained how they first began to get to know each other.
If that's not enough Taylor for you, the singer also chatted about her enthusiasm for New York City, her 1989 Secret Sessions -- and even performed 'Welcome to New York.'
