A 96-year-old World War II veteran received the gift of Taylor Swift this holiday season, when the “Blank Space” singer showed up to his Missouri home for a surprise visit yesterday (December 26).

Cyrus Porter -- who has seen Swift in concert several times, along with one of his daughters and two of his grandchildren, according to a report from KFVS 12  -- was reportedly delighted when the 1989 singer showed up at his home unannounced, where she treated the family to an acoustic version of her hit "Shake It Off."

Porter's grandson posted several photos of the visit to Twitter, along with the caption, "Taking selfies, holding babies, hugging grandpas and leaving lipstick marks. Taylor Swift does it all. Awsome day for my Popo!!"

Family member Caroline Fowler spoke with E! News about Swift's time at the house, saying, "My Popo was ecstatic! He was grinning from ear to ear and even had tears in his eyes. The first thing he said to her was ‘How did you get here?' He loved every moment. He told her how he was proud of his family, his country and Taylor Swift!"

A video of the World War II veteran went viral earlier this year, when he told KFVS Swift was his favorite artist.

"Look what she does, she puts on a show no one else puts on," he said. "I just liked the way she did stuff."
