Taylor Swift will premiere her new video for 'The Story of Us' on MTV on Tuesday, May 24 at 7:53PM ET. In addition to debuting the video for the 'Speak Now' track, the 21-year-old will also take part in 'MTV First: Taylor Swift,' a live exclusive interview with MTV News.

The 30-minute interview will stream live on MTV.com, and Swift will introduce the video on-air. Fans can submit questions for Taylor to answer via MTV.com or Twitter, using @MTVNews and the hashtag #AskTaylor. At 8PM ET, the music video will debut on MTV.com and VH1.com, as well as MTV's international sites.

In October, Swift told MTV that the song was inspired by an awkward run-in with an ex. "...I was at an awards show, and there was a guy there, obviously — it all starts there, doesn't it? It was a guy I had been in a relationship with, falling out, then we end up at the same awards show," she said. "Both trying to act like we don't care ... Both like, you know, chatting up the people next to us. Afterward, I just felt so empty, like we were both fighting this silent war of pretending we didn't care that the other was there."

Swift made her first television performance of 'The Story of Us' when she appeared on 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' show on May 11. The song is the fourth single from 'Speak Now,' following 'Mine,' 'Back to December' and 'Mean.'
