The Downtown Fiction are gearing up for the release of their second album, 'Losers & Kings,' which is set to drop this summer. And lucky for you, PopCrush has the exclusive premiere of the first in a series of behind-the-scenes video of the recording of the album.

In the BTS clip, we see three of the guys of TDF -- drummer Kyle Rodgers, bassist David Pavuluk and frontman Cameron Leahy -- as they hit the studio, laying down the tracks for the album, including its single, 'Kiss My Friends.'

"This record is supposed to be played loud," Leahy says of the album. "Really loud."

"The writing process is really fluid. When the songs came together, they came very fast," he continues. "It's just really exciting to hear them coming together and coming to life in the way we always imagined it."

And if 'Kiss My Friends' is anything to go by -- a tune they sample in the video -- the 'Losers & Kings' album promises the band's signature heavy rock feel with a fun pop twist.

The lead single, 'Kiss My Friends,' is set to drop tomorrow, April 15. The band's full-length album, 'Losers & Kings,' will be released on June 17.
