R&B hitmaker The-Dream has been M.I.A. since he dropped two previously-unreleased songs back in June. But it looks as if he's ready to swoon the ladies again with his soft 'Falsetto.'

The crooner is set to release a digital-only 10-track digital EP titled 'Terius Nash Est.1977' on Aug. 31. Apparently, the collection is a teaser before he officially drops his fourth studio effort 'The Love, IV: Diary of a Madman' later this year.

"[A] free 10 song Internet album will be released by Aug 31st," The-Dream announced on his Twitter page. "LP 4, because of the Contract negotiations, does not have a date but it will be released 4th quarter but I will give a 10 song Internet LP while you guys wait!!!! LOVE YOU."

Nothing sounds sweeter in our ears than the word "free" so we can't wait to hear what he's bringing to the fans at the end of the month. In addition, The-Dream is shooting videos for the project this week. He also added: "BTW NO ONE AT DEFJAM IS HAPPY ABOUT A FREE ALBUM LOL.... they are trying to stop it!"

We can bet the executives at Island/Def Jam are upset by this sudden news, that's free sales being sucked out of the label's own pockets. In any case, hats off to you Mr. Terius as you embark on this new journey of FREE-dom. Get it? Ha!
