Comedy trio the Lonely Island -- Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone -- brag about their unique attire on the Snoop Dogg-assisted title track from their upcoming album 'Turtleneck & Chain.'

The song opens with the hook, in which their computer-altered voices rap "Turtleneck & chain" three times in a tough-sounding voice, followed by the high-pitched squeal "sippin' on a light beer." The comedians brag about wearing a "turtleneck thicker than Delta Burke swimming in a Guinness."

On Snoop's equally silly verse, the rapper says, "The fatter, the puffier, the fluffier, the thicker the turtleneck, the more gangsta you be."

The Lonely Island have produced some high-quality comedy songs since debuting with the Justin Timberlake collaboration 'D--k in a Box,' but this one falls short.

The song is essentially one minimally-funny joke -- "Isn't it hilarious how we pretend to be gangsta yet wear turtlenecks and drink light beer?" -- stretched out for three minutes. The visual of the turtleneck and chain combo might make for a great album cover photo, but as a song it doesn't really work.

'Turtleneck & Chain' is the title track from the comedy trio's upcoming album, which hits stores May 10 and features an odd assortment of guest artists, including Beck, Michael Bolton, Akon, Rihanna, John Waters and Nicki Minaj.
