Lady Gaga – Pop Star Cameos on ‘The Simpsons’
Katy Perry isn't the only female pop star to make an appearance on 'The Simpsons.' Lady Gaga showed up in Season 23's finale 'Lisa Goes Gaga' as herself (of course), only unlike Perry, Gaga was complete in full cartoon form.
In this episode, Lisa's down on her luck at school. Unpopular, she attempts to anonymously write positive things about herself, but it all backfires and she's at an all-time low. That is, until Lady Gaga shows up thanks to a psychic force who tells the singer Lisa needs her assistance. Gaga helps the town of Springfield "realize that being yourself is better than being like anyone else."
Because Lisa, you were born this way, baby!
