‘The Voice’ 2014 Wet N Wild Commercial Features Madison’s ‘Gotta Have You’ [LISTEN]

If you watched the Season 7 premiere of 'The Voice' on NBC last night, Sept. 22, you may have caught a fun, colorful commercial for the new Wet N Wild beauty mobile app called Steal the Look. The energetic and fierce spirit of the ad is represented by its accompanying song titled 'Gotta Have You' by an artist named Madison.

Madison tells PopCrush: "'Gotta Have You’ off my new EP, 'In The Bright Light,' was written and recorded in Malibu. It’s a fun, sexy, pop song with hints of glamour and edge – perfect for Wet N Wild! I’m so happy that people will hear it first this way and now I can say I have a music video directed by David Lachapelle! OMFG! #Stealthelook"

Her story is anything but typical. The Miami-born artist originally moved to New York City to pursue a career in neuroscience. As an MD/PhD student, she spent hours in laboratories conducting psychiatric research and writing lengthy research articles. But she soon found herself inspired by the artistry and fashion of the Big Apple, and began writing music on her own as a new passion.

She has since self-produced several EPs under her own label, G Records. Her music has been used in other commercials for major brands such as Pantene, as well as TV shows such as 'Nashville,' 'Gossip Girl,' 'Rookie Blue' and '90210.'
