Justin Grennan bills himself as a new voice of old soul, and his singing talent paid off with his blind audition of Train's 'Drops of Jupiter' on 'The Voice.'

The 33-year-old singer-songwriter from Enumclaw, Wash., cites such influences as Sam Cooke, Stevie Wonder and Steve Perry, among others. His group, Justin Grennan & the Project, has become a popular live act in Los Angeles. In 2008, he released a full-length album, 'Things I Should Have Said,' that is currently available on iTunes.

For his day job, Grennan sells and installs windows. He's also an avid outdoorsman who likes to spend his spare time fishing and hunting. Prior to his audition on 'The Voice,' he admitted that he did have a preference for one of the four celebrity coaches. "My first choice would be Christina Aguilera," he said. "Every time I hear her sing, she just slays me with her vocals."

Grennan's wish came true, as his performance of 'Drops of Jupiter' won over Aguilera, who was "happy to welcome" him to her team.
