The Wanted took the stage at KIIS FM's Wango Tango in California on Saturday, May 12, to perform their hits, which garnered incredible support from radio. Performing outside in the bright, hot sun, the boys delivered a rousing performance, loved by the ladies.

They also had to venture out into the venue in order to grab a cold, frosty beer since there was none backstage. Gasp!

The boys performed 'All Time Low,' 'Lightning,' 'Chasing the Sun' and 'Glad You Came' with plenty of ebullience and energy.

Nathan Sykes, wearing aviator shades, acknowledged playing outside in the sun, as opposed to chasing it, saying, "As British guys, we don't get to travel that much to places with awesome weather. It's great to be out in the sun." The Wanted also commented on all the tanned bodies in the crowd, calling it "the best view in the house." They got tons and tons of screams from the crowd.

Jay McGuiness even took pictures of the crowd while performing, since he is the videographer of the group.

During their pre-performance interview, Jay told the story of a prank his bandmates once played on him, turning up his mic so he would sound like a chipmunk during a sensitive song.

The Wanted admitted they were not chased down the street by fans at this gig, but they did have run-ins with their adoring public and noticed the fans in the stands had signs. This happened since the boys had to go wait in line with the fans to get some bevs, since, as Tom Parker bemoaned, "There is no beer backstage, come on people, this is sacrilege."
