If you've ever had a burning desire to see The Weeknd bring "Prisoner," his duet with Lana Del Rey, to life onstage, you're in for a real treat.

During last night’s (December 9) Los Angeles stop on his current The Madness Tour, The Weeknd brought Lana out to perform the track together live for the first time.

Thanks to the prevalence of smartphones, footage of the joint performance was caught and posted online by several fans who were in attendance. Check out the duet in all its somber glory in the video above.

Meanwhile, the Weeknd has yet to comment publicly on a lawsuit recently brought against him accusing him of copyright infringement.

Cutting Edge Music Limited alleges that the “Can’t Feel My Face” singer illegally sampled music from the 2013 movie The Machine to use for his chart-topping hit “The Hills.” Court papers filed yesterday (December 9) indicate the case’s key evidence lies in an alleged direct message the Weeknd reportedly sent to Tom Rayboud -- who created the film's score -- saying, “I sampled your music might make it 2 the weeknd next album. Huge fan of what u did 4 the machine movie!”

The complaint breaks down the supposed similarities between the track and movie score, saying, "Both the Infringing Song and the Track featuring synthesizer bass-lines performed with almost identical idiosyncratic sounds at the same register and using the same pitch sequence, melodic phase structure and rhythmic durations.”
